Wojciech Misiąg Ph.D., prof. UITM
General Director of the Institute for Financial Research and Analyses
Born in Kraków in 1951. Econometrician, a graduate of the School of Planning and Statistics (1974), Doctor of Economic Sciences (1984), since 2003 and prof. of University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow, from 2011. Vice President of the Supreme Chamber of Control 2011-2013, actually adviser of the SCC President. Specializing in public finance, with particular emphasis placed on problems organization of public sector, local government finance and budget planning.
The author and co-author of more than 130 works in the field of public finance and application of mathematics in economics, including more than 30 books. Also the author of numerous expert opinions for the Ministry of Regional Development, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, other ministries and many local governments. Took part in commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, development strategy for higher education, which is a joint venture between Ernst & Young and the Institute for Market Economics.
Worked at the School of Planning and Statistics (SGH) and the Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management (now Kozminski University) in 1989-1994 as undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Finance, was responsible for the state budget and financial policies.
After leaving the Ministry of Finance, he began research work in the Institute of Market Economy Research, serving simultaneously as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PZU SA and later – as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PZU Zycie SA. In 1994-2003, he also worked as an advisor to the boards of Bank Slaski, Bank Handlowy and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. He was World Bank’s expert, until he started working in the SCC (in 2003) cooperating with the Office of Research of the Sejm.
Tomasz Skica, Assoc. Prof., PhD

Habilitated doctor of social sciences in the discipline of economics and finance. Since 2002, he has been professionally associated with the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów. Responsible for development projects, analyzes and studies. Organizer of seminars, author of programs, courses and training. In the years 2002-2004, the initiator and coordinator of research projects carried out in cooperation with the UITM Institute of Economics. In 2010-2016, a member of the supervisory board of a Municipal Limited Liability Company in Żołynia.
Since 2013, he has been the director of research and science at the Institute for Financial Research and Analyzes (IFRA), a research and development unit of the University of Information Technology and Management based in Rzeszów. In 2013-2016, he was the head of the Department of Finance at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów. Editor-in-chief of the Financial Internet Quarterly since 2019. Lecturer at UITM postgraduate studies. Cisco Entrepreneur Institute (CEI) trainer. An expert in the field of public finances (in particular the finances of local government units).
Jacek Rodzinka Ph.D.

Doctor of economic sciences, his field of interests include the topic of customer loyalty in various branches, in particular in the field of insurance. Scientifically, he is involved in the modelling and measurement of customer loyalty. Author or co-author of over forty publications and many reports, expertises and development strategies.
Trainer and consultant working with both academic centers as well as businesses, lecturer at the Stock Exchange School.
Since 1999 on staff at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow, currently in the positions of Director of the Center for Socio-Economic Clustering Research and Analysis and Assistant Manager of the Faculty of Macroeconomics.
Ulyana Zaremba PhD
Scientist and lecturer at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.
Doctor of social sciences in the discipline of management.
She defended her doctoral thesis "Assessment of the restructuring proceedings of enterprises in Poland" with honors at the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk in May 2021. A graduate of postgraduate studies "Capital Manager" in the field of Strategic Finance Management and one-year European Academy of Diplomacy in Warsaw. Tutor of accredited postgraduate studies in Accounting and Controlling ACCA (www.accapolska.pl).). Lecturer at the Stock Exchange School and a Certified Trainer of Industry Business Simulations Revas. Author and co-author of scientific publications, expert opinions and reports. She conducts trainings in the field of financial analysis and liquidity management in enterprises. Business advisor and co-owner of Nexdiag LLC, where innovative solutions for the automotive industry are created (www.nexdiag.com).
Małgorzata Leśniowska-Gontarz M.Sc.
Graduate of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow in the Faculty of Economics with a concentration in European Economics (2009).
Currently an assistant in the Faculty of Social and Economic Policy and the secretary of the Faculty of Macroeconomics at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow. During her studies an active participant in programs such as the Student Insurance and Banking Club and the Film Club. Participant in the Erasmus program ‘Lobbying in the EU’ in Brussels (April/May 2008). From April 2009 to April 2011 assistant to the proxy of the rector for Quality Management Systems in the project ‘Quality, Education, Success.’ Co-organizer of the 1st and 2nd International Conference of KAIZEN practitioners. Since October 2010 a doctoral candidate at the University of Warsaw (Faculty of Economics).
Karolina Palimąka M.Sc.
Currently an assistant at the Department of Management, Institute for Financial Research and Analysis (IFRA) and Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow. Graduate of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow in the Faculty of Economics with a concentration in European Economics (2017). Diploma thesis "Attitudes towards entrepreneurship and setting up own business on the example of students of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów" defended with a very good grade, for which she also received the first place in the university’s competition. Three-times scholarship awarded from Ministry of Higher Education in Poland, titled “The Best Student” at University in years: 2015, 2016 and 2017, “The best Graduated Student” at bachelor and master degree. During studies an active participant at different national and international science conferences. As a student’s representative of UITM she has participated at three editions of European Financial Congress in Sopot.
Participant of the works in the scope of preparing strategic plans for Local Government Units, and applications for co-financing of scientific and educational projects. As a staff member of UITM conducts classes on business management using simulation games.
